JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Create, Plan and Execute innovative, unique, and memorable activities and programs for resort guests
Manage and schedule a team of Activities Associates
Oversee all guest related activities on property, such as concerts, painting classes, exercise classes, concerts, and more
Oversees our guests recreation areas including, the pool, gym and any other guest areas
Follow all safety regulations and protocols

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • * High school diploma or GED; 1 year experience in the recreation/health club operations or related professional area. OR
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Health Education, Physical Education, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Must be passionate about hospitality and eager to create memorable guest experiences
  • Must be able to quickly adapt and pivot when needed, such as when activities need to be altered due to weather changes, etc
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to easily communicate with guests
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
  • Must be available to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
