Fox TV StationsFOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Are you ready to produce compelling newscasts with one of the most respected local television stations in the nation's capital? FOX 5 DC / FOX 5 Plus is seeking an experienced, creative, and energetic News Producer to join our winning team.

What You'll Do
Lead Daily Production: Responsible for all aspects of assigned newscasts - from story selection and editorial decisions to final delivery.
Create Compelling Content: Write, edit, and produce engaging stories and segments for broadcast and digital.
Coordinate Coverage: Work with the directors, assignment desk and editors, on-air staff, and field crews to manage live shots, visuals, and supporting materials.
Drive Digital Integration: Collaborate with digital and news teams to ensure stories reach audiences on all platforms.
Contribute Editorially: Participate in daily news and production meetings and help shape newsroom coverage strategies.
Other Duties: Perform other duties. Reporting to the Executive Producer.

This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
