Job description

Procurement Specialist 1st Shift
Location: Jefferson, OH (Travel between Jefferson and Ashtabula facilities required)
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Mancan in partnership with a growing manufacturing facility in Jefferson, OH is seeking a dependable and organized Procurement Specialist to join their team on 1st shift. This position plays a key role in supporting purchasing and inventory operations while working between both the Jefferson and Ashtabula facilities.
Responsibilities:
* Track and monitor Purchase Order (PO) status to ensure timely delivery of materials.
* Organize, count, receive, and restock physical inventory items.
* Process and assist with PRL (Purchase Requisition List) orders over $500.
* Assist with ordering materials and supplies as needed.
* Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records.
* Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding order status and inventory needs.
* Support procurement and warehouse operations to ensure efficient workflow.
* Travel between the Jefferson and Ashtabula plants as business needs require.
Qualifications:
* Previous purchasing, procurement, inventory, or warehouse experience preferred.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between the Jefferson and Ashtabula locations.
