Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Nights | Onsite | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Every Third Weekend Required | On-Call Up to Once Every 4 Weeks

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Neuro/Trauma/Medical ICU setting with acuity-adaptable patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4
  • Operate and monitor advanced equipment including ventilators, IV pumps, CRRT, BiPAP, EKOS, and chest tubes
  • Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
  • Care for a diverse patient population including neuro, trauma, medical ICU, stepdown/progressive care, and medical overflow patients
  • Complete assigned computer-based training (CBT) modules as directed by staff education prior to and during assignment
  • Float to other units as required based on staffing and patient census needs
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 3–5 years of critical care experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification
  • Demonstrated cardiac rhythm interpretation knowledge; must pass facility competency test with a score of 90% or higher
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • TNCC or TCAR certification
  • Experience in stepdown or progressive care settings
  • Familiarity with neuro and trauma patient populations
