Job description

We are Harmony Hills Behavioral Health (HHBH), a longstanding residential treatment facility serving adults with primary mental health disorders, in central Florida. We are in Altoona, FL, less than one hour North of Orlando. Our serene, rural setting allows guests to heal away from the stresses of everyday life. Through both evidence-based and holistic treatment therapies, our guests heal in mind, body, and spirit.
We are looking for a compassionate Nurses to provide excellent care in a residential treatment facility serving individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.

We seek an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team!
Schedule:

  • RN - Per Diem (PRN status) / on call days or nights as needed from 7a - 7p OR 7p - 7a / holidays and weekends / Shift differential for nights and OT rate for holidays worked
The experience candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
  • Minimum of (2) years of experience as in a mental health environment.
  • Able to work the schedule as above noted for each role.
  • Background in home health, ER acute care and residential treatment preferred.
  • Able to pass a AHCA level 2 background check.
Duties include:
  • Medication administration
  • Daily nursing assessment to evaluate physical health and mental health, including risk to self/other
  • Documentation in EMR of medication compliance, assessment results, and physician orders
  • Milieu Management: assisting guests with self-regulation and maintaining safety
  • Participation in treatment team; collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to include Psychiatrists, PMHNPs, ARNPs, and Mental Health Therapists.

Pay: $26 - $38/hour (depending on position and experience)

Education: A.S. in Nursing or BSN Degree
License: Active FL RN License (REQUIRED)
