Experience: Minimum of 2 years required

Must-Have:
Must have experience completing complicated and uncomplicated cesarean sections.
Scrub experience required.
Certification from NBSTSA or NCCT preferred but not required.
Description:
The surgical tech will work in the labor and delivery operating room.
This position involves assisting with both scheduled and unscheduled cases.
Common cases include cesarean sections, dilation and curettage, cerclage placement, and cervical hysterectomy.
The unit typically operates with two surgical suites.
On average, three scheduled cases may occur daily, although this can vary significantly.
The individual will be required to work two Fridays and four Saturdays/Sundays each month.
Weekday call is expected, but weekend call is not required.
Shifts will predominantly cover day hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
Every other holiday will also be required.
The scrub color and dress code will be hospital issued.
Additional responsibilities may include stocking patient rooms when not in the operating room and some processing of surgical instrumentation.
