Private Family Seeking a Full-Time Live-In Housekeeper (Fri-Mon or Thurs-Sun)

Position: Full-Time Live-In Housekeeper
Schedule: FridayMonday/Thursday - Sunday, approximately 7am 8pm with a 1-hour daily break (12 hours per day, 4 days per week / 48 hours per week)
Salary:$45-$50/hr
Start Date: ASAP

The families primary language is Spanish, so a fluent Spanish speaker is required.

Location: Split residence between Manhattan and Long Island, NY


About the Family

A warm and active private family based between Manhattan and Long Island is seeking a professional, flexible, and highly capable live-in Housekeeper to support their busy household on a full-time schedule that overlaps weekends. The family is looking for someone long-term who is proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fully staffed home environment.

The ideal candidate will enjoy supporting a dynamic household, be confident in the kitchen, and have a calm, team-oriented personality.


Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and overall organization of the home through housekeeping duties
  • Prepare daily meals and confidently cook for a large family (3 meals per day)
  • Family laundry & ironing
  • Assist with household inventory management, including monitoring groceries and household supplies
  • Provide occasional childcare support alongside the familys nanny
  • Support smooth day-to-day household operations across both Manhattan and Long Island residences
  • Maintain tidy and organized living spaces, kitchens, and common areas
  • Adapt to the familys changing schedule and transitions between homes
  • Live in while on shift to ensure flexibility and seamless household support
