How you’ll make an impact in this role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Interventional Cardiologist to join a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

  • Step into a well-established Cardiology practice of 5 other physicians and 4 APPs who also support weekend call coverage.
  • Call Structure: 1:4 weekends with the potential of 1:5. (Friday evening - Monday morning). 1-2 nights per weekday.
  • Practice setting: Managing weekly rotations at both locations across both inpatient hospital settings and outpatient clinics.
  • Access to Cath lab | Robotics | Dedicated block time |Support staff
  • Employed position within a nonprofit health system
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
  • Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
  • Diagnostics: Perform and interpret a full scope of cardiac diagnostic tests, specifically Echo, EKG, and Regular and Nuclear stress test reads.
  • Consultation: Participate in specialty inpatient and outpatient consultation, which may include on-call schedules.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. 
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
