Job description

Provide Preventative, Predictive maintenance. Electrical, Mechanical, troubleshooting, repair, rebuild, replace in kind of components and parts. Additional details of related skills needed at pre-defined maintenance tech levels can be found in the Maintenance Technician Skills Matrix. Primary focus is to maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure safety, quality and production standards are met. Weekend work and additional related skills specific to the wastewater treatment plant and intake are required.

What You Do.

  • Perform all lab and testing activities to support optimal aerobatic performance of plant
  • Perform all sludge management activities
  • Perform are related P.M. activities to support the system/plant
  • Understand and manage the weekend utility stream to and from WWTP and support all related equipment
  • Work with OIC to maintain daily compliance of plant
  • Support and maintain all milk receiving activities
  • Monitor and support all utility needs related to receiving and shipping of milk/whey/whey cream/sweet cream

Your Education and Experience. 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of direct manufacturing experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance or an associate’s degree.

Your Qualifications.

  • Requires a high level of proficiency and mental as well as physical alertness.
  • Ability to work independently with resourcefulness, originality, and initiative.
  • Understanding of functional criteria for control systems, power systems, and electronic device selection.
  • Soft skills, interacting, positive reinforcement, teamwork, we not me attitude, highly cooperative, attentive, leading by example, etc.
  • Skills and competencies further defined in attached functional expectations for this position.
  • To maintain and stay current as well as comply with State of Wisconsin license criteria for Industrial Electrician, Journeymen Maintenance Technicians must attend specified hours in relevant and accepted CEUs for electrical codes and safety.
