Responsibilities- Direct all manufacturing functions including production, engineering, mining, maintenance and administrative functions.
- Plan for capital improvements and projects.
- Establish effective employee relations to ensure the availability of a well-trained and motivated work force.
- Maintain a safe working environment and an atmosphere of continuous improvement, with a heavy focus on MSHA.
- Develop subordinates, as well as direct, train, supervise, schedule and overall management of the operation to ensure quality output at minimum cost.
- Regularly interface with sales, marketing and customer service to ensure customers' needs are being met.
- Responsible for maintaining production rates to best utilize equipment and labor while managing costs.
- Oversee planning and execution to ensure long term goals and objectives are met.
- Has involvement with other special projects as assigned.
- BS in related technical field or business field
- Minimum of 10 years of management experience in an industry-related field
- Must have experience in diverse functional roles and the ability to work independently.
- Must provide strong leadership skills under pressure.
- Must be a champion for change.
