Job description

The Opportunity:The Finance Manager - Indianapolis provides financial leadership for the Indianapolis plant, including centralized charges and capital investments. This role supports the development of an optimized manufacturing strategy while driving strong financial and operational performance.
Partnering closely with Operations leadership and the Plant Manager, the Finance Manager works cross-functionally with Finance, Strategy, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to deliver insights that inform strategic decisions and improve business results.
As a visible member of the plant leadership team, this role serves as a trusted business partner, strengthening financial discipline and supporting decision-making through rigorous reporting, analysis, controls, and operational financial management.

Compensation:$94,000 - $141,000 CAD base pay annually plus annual short-term incentiveSnapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:
  • Lead financial management of plant operations, including reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and period-end close, delivering accurate and timely insights that drive accountability and performance.
  • Partner with plant and operations leadership as a trusted advisor, translating financial results into clear actions that improve efficiency, cost performance, and support fact-based decision-making.
  • Own the annual planning cycle, including overheads, product costing, BOM governance, and capital investments, ensuring alignment with operational strategy and long-term value creation.
  • Provide financial leadership on manufacturing strategy and capital initiatives through rigorous analysis, modeling, and business case evaluation, supporting disciplined and transparent investment decisions.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing key performance drivers, identifying risks and opportunities, and validating savings initiatives, including Cost of Poor Quality.
  • Ensure strong financial governance by maintaining effective internal controls and compliance with accounting and corporate policies, acting with integrity and proactively managing risk.
  • Foster collaboration and build capability by developing finance team members and enhancing financial acumen across plant leadership and cross-functional partners.
What You'll Bring:
  • Post-Secondary Education in a finance/business related program required
  • 5+ years of progressive finance experience in an ERP environment required (SAP preferred)
  • Completion of professional accounting designation program preferred
  • Experience in Manufacturing Costing is an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office required
  • Ability to work independently
