• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents to assess their physical capabilities and therapeutic needs, catering your approach to each individual's situation.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans that target specific goals, including improvements in strength, mobility, and overall functional independence.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise programs, and utilization of specialized equipment to facilitate effective treatment.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, documenting changes and making adjustments to treatment plans based on real-time assessments and feedback.
• Work alongside an interdisciplinary team—which includes physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists—to ensure comprehensive care that holistically addresses the needs of our residents.
• Educate patients and their families about home exercise programs and strategies to promote ongoing physical health and wellness.
• Maintain adherence to all relevant state and federal regulations, as well as uphold the highest professional standards throughout all interactions.

Your primary focus will be working with residents, particularly those recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. Engagement with a diverse population—including geriatric individuals—means that your role will involve adapting treatment modalities to meet the unique needs of each client, taking into account varying levels of physical ability and recovery goals.

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New York is required.
• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is a prerequisite.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration and education.

• At least two years of previous experience as a Physical Therapist, with a preference for those who have worked in skilled nursing facilities or with geriatric patients.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment, contributing positively to group dynamics and patient care strategies.
