As a Physical Therapist at Adamson Physical Therapy, you will primarily work onsite in the homes of our patients. This setting allows for individualized care plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and living conditions, ensuring a more effective and comfortable rehabilitation experience. You will collaborate closely with patients, family members, and healthcare providers to create an integrated support system that encourages recovery and well-being.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions to develop and implement customized treatment plans that restore mobility and improve functionality.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate healing and recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, lifestyle modifications, and wellness strategies to maintain long-term health and prevent future injuries.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR) to track progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to enhance continuity of care and share insights about patient outcomes.
• Advocate for patient needs and coordinate care with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support.

Your role will involve working primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will engage with a diverse range of individuals, including elderly clients, athletes, and those with mobility challenges, helping each to achieve their individual rehabilitation goals. Building rapport and creating a trusting relationship with patients is essential for encouraging their active participation in their own care.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy license to practice in Nevada or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, to effectively connect with patients and healthcare teams.
• A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

• At least 2 years of experience in outpatient settings, although candidates with relevant internship experiences will also be considered.
• Familiarity with home care practices and the ability to adapt treatments based on individual home environments.
• Previous experience in working with orthopedic conditions is a significant plus.
