We are excited to offer a weekend-focused pharmacist role designed with flexibility to meet both departmental needs and candidate preferences. This position is ideal for individuals seeking a consistent weekend schedule with the option to tailor hours and commitment level. This position is incentive eligible.
Schedule Options:
This role is focused on weekend coverage, with flexibility in structure, including:
• Saturday & Sunday coverage (day shifts)
• Friday, Saturday, & Sunday coverage (day shifts)
Final schedule will be determined in partnership with the selected candidate to align with both team needs and individual preferences.
FTE Flexibility:
We are open to structuring this position as either:
• Full-time, or
• Part-time

Review prescriptions to assure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients, and to evaluate their suitability. Provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage.
Job Description
The Adult Clinical Focus Straight Weekends Pharmacist provides direct pharmaceutical care to adult inpatient populations through a rotating day/evening schedule focused primarily on medical and surgical units. This role is embedded within patient care areas and collaborates closely with providers, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize medication therapy and support safe, effective patient care.
Key responsibilities include prospective patient profile review, medication order verification, identification and resolution of medication-related problems, participation in interdisciplinary rounds, patient education, and clinical consultation for providers and staff. The pharmacist also supports operational and distributive pharmacy functions as needed while promoting evidence-based practice, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and continuity of care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications
In a medical center or institutional setting: Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy. Must have a thorough knowledge of drugs and their actions; knowledge of state and local regulations. Hospital experience or residency preferred.
License must be in good standing by the State Board of Pharmacy in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position.
