Job description

Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Description

We are seeking dedicated assembly technicians to join our team in upfitting police, fire, and EMS fleets. This assembly role involves stripping down vehicles and rebuilding them with tactical gear.

Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Disassembly: Safely remove factory interior panels, seats, exterior parts, and trim without causing damage.
  • Equipment Assembly: Build and install emergency consoles, push bumpers, partitions, and weapons racks.
  • Electrical Upfitting: Integrate 12V electrical systems, lightbars, sirens, radios, antennas, and camera systems.
  • Blueprint Navigation: Read and interpret custom build sheets, schematics, and mechanical technical specifications.
  • Quality Control: Routinely crimp custom wiring harnesses cleanly while ensuring safety compliance.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in assembly and use of hand tools, mechanical and electrical assembly line work.
  • Ability to read tape measures accurately.
  • Competency with hand and power tools, soldering, and production techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proficiency using standard hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing gear.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass pre-employment checks.
