Description

This position requires 2 days per week, 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (2 x 10-hour shifts) plus every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedules patient visits.
  • Develops staffing schedules, triage and on-call schedules.
  • Interacts with patients, their representatives, physicians, physician office staff, departmental staff, to gather and ensure accuracy of demographic, billing and clinical information.
  • Develops and distributes required forms, documents and reports with accurate patient information.
  • Enters all data related to scheduling needs.
  • Maintains exemplary level of customer service.
  • Reviews new and previously recorded information with patient, physician and others to ensure accurate collection and analysis of information.
  • Communicates instructions and arrival times to patient for each visits.
  • Accepts and Directs patients calls to appropriate staff or charge nurse.
  • Communicates schedule changes to appropriate staff and or patients.
  • Works with charge nurses and managers to maintain schedules ย ย 

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience in a customer service role.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Previous experience with an electronic medical records system.
