OUTSIDE OPERATIONS JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports to: General Manager | FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Seasonal

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Outside Operations position will coordinate efforts to deliver guest experiences throughout the Resort. Their duties include staging amenities, proactive grounds maintenance, coordinating services at guest touchpoints, and providing rental equipment daily.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Resort Management to maintain a clean, safe and appealing property.
  • Attend morning huddle to communicate daily vendor appointments and required work.
  • Communicate regularly and professionally with other maintenance workers, management and team members and work closely with them on all special maintenance projects.
  • Maintain grounds, amenities and common areas and keep them free from trash and debris.
  • Report maintenance concerns directly to management and perform repairs.
  • Mow, weed, edge and otherwise maintain common areas and vacant lot grounds.
  • You will be required to move heavy objects, and you may drive maintenance carts or equipment to various locations on the property.
  • Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.
  • Escort guests to their site.
  • Maintain fleet of golf carts, bikes, and pedal karts including check out/in.
  • Ensure amenities are consistently staged for guests.
  • Empty trash and pet stations throughout the resort.
  • Respond to guest service requests in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure RV sites are ready for guest check-in.
  • Assist with daily maintenance in Wibit aquatic playground pieces.
  • Be present and on-site during high traffic times which include nights and weekends
  • General maintenance and guest assistance around the resort.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • The ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks, as well as to delegate and train employees.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are important for effective teams
  • The ability to develop and implement safety programs for work areas
  • Comfortable handling guest interactions and feedback
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Has worked in a supervisory capacity.
  • Performing manual labor tasks like mowing, weeding, and digging
  • Removing trash and debris
  • Removing snow and ice
  • Spreading salt and other de-icers
  • Preparing and maintaining reports and records
