Location: Three Bakers, Moscow, PA
Position: Oven Room Operator
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Schedule: 8:00am - 6:00pm. Monday - Thursday

Job Summary:
As an Oven Room Operator at Three Bakers, you will be responsible for operating large industrial ovens and a high-capacity proofer box in a fast-paced, high-temperature environment. This role requires careful monitoring and documentation of bread baking processes, including tracking proper times, weights, and heights to maintain quality standards. Because we are a gluten-free facility, you must follow strict food safety, hygiene, and cross-contamination prevention procedures. On-the-job training will be provided, but this role demands attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and the stamina to work in a hot, physically demanding setting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor large industrial ovens and a proofer box, ensuring consistent baking results.
  • Document bake times, bread weights, and loaf heights accurately for quality control.
  • Maintain awareness of oven and proofer temperatures, adjusting as needed to meet product standards.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and cross-contamination prevention protocols.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized, including routine cleaning of equipment.
  • Communicate with team members to coordinate workflow and maintain production efficiency.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (8-12 hours per shift) in a high-heat environment.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and movement in a fast-paced production area.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No prior experience required; full on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices; knowledge of cross-contamination prevention is a plus.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work in a hot, fast-paced setting.

Benefits Include:
  • Health, dental and vision insurance
  • Accrued paid time off (PTO)
  • Paid holidays
