Job description

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the preparation of garment shipments according to customerspecifications. The duties of this position cover a wide range of activities to include reworkinggarments, building merchandisers, sticking barcodes, tagging, hanging, packing/repacking, sorting,and creating labels.

Within the Inflate & Pack area, this position is responsible for the preparation of Spaldingshipments according to the customer specifications. Additional duties for this area includereworking out of date stock, inflating raw balls and building packers.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Prep orders to include attaching hang tags, UPC stickers, folding garmentsaccording to type and customer specifications, bagging, inspecting, applyingstickers, tags, or any other special attachment as required by customerspecifications. For those in the Inflate and Pack area, this includes inflatingraw balls.
  • Pack orders which requires the operator to secure or construct supplies,including cases, end caps, pallets and all other supplies required according tocustomer and company specifications. Fills ship case or end cap withspecified number of garments or raw balls to match customer specificationsand applies stickers or labels as required. Operator may be required to placecover on merchandisers or end caps
  • Visually check garment or raw ball UPC'S as they are packed for correctlabeling, bagging or for defects
  • Palletize product which includes wrapping of all full pallets before they leaveRetail area.
  • Electronically prints case labels to be applied to finished product assigned tothe retail line. Release labeled case to auto tap machine (may be required touse manual tape machine)
  • Replenishes materials as needed to complete job.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to do simple arithmetic
  • Ability to use some precision instruments (i.e. staplers, wrapping equipment and computerterminals).
