Job description

The Facility Attendant is responsible for the nighttime and weekend operations of Hempfield Park & Hempfield Township Athletic Complex.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Handle the nighttime and weekend operations of Hempfield Park and Hempfield Township Athletic Complex, including but not limited to front desk operations, answering phones, checking in members, troubleshooting rental problems, and monitoring safety and security within the park.
  • Back up to Park Attendant
  • Assist with operations of departmental software, including trouble shooting users problems and processing registrations.
  • Follow building open/close procedures.
  • Responsible for supervising Facility Assistants scheduled during shift.
  • Provide support for Parks & Recreation or Township events.
  • Attendance at staff meetings and trainings.
  • Provide other services and perform other duties as requested by full time Hempfield Township Parks & Recreation Staff.
