Job description

Warehouse Technician

Job Summary

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials in a safe and efficient warehouse environment. This role operates forklifts and other material handling equipment, maintains inventory accuracy, supports shipping and receiving activities, and follows all warehouse safety procedures.

Shift: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Pay: $21/hr.

Location: Sarasota, FL

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, receive, store, and distribute materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Process inbound shipments from freight and parcel carriers.
  • Pick, pack, stock, and transfer materials between warehouse locations.
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Enter and verify inventory data, part numbers, and quantities in warehouse systems.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and report safety concerns.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Support overtime and weekend operations as needed.
Qualifications
  • Forklift experience in a warehouse, distribution, or supply store environment.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling.
  • Ability to accurately pick orders and perform cycle counts.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Basic computer and inventory system skills preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with overtime and weekend work as needed. Position requires standing, walking, lifting, operating material handling equipment, and working in an active warehouse environment. Safety and inventory accuracy are critical to success in this role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
