Job Description

We are seeking a driven, hands-on Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations for a high-performing Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP). This leader will own the execution, people, and financial performance of a $3M-$5M business unit-ensuring packages are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while building a strong, accountable team.

This role is ideal for an experienced operations leader or a high-potential graduate ready to accelerate their leadership career. A degree is not required; we value ownership, financial aptitude, strong communication, operational discipline, and the ability to solve problems quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Role :

As Operations Manager, you will lead daily dispatch, driver staffing, route readiness, fleet availability, and real-time delivery execution across the Eastern Massachusetts service area. You will work closely with Amazon station leadership and internal teams to improve service, safety, profitability, and driver performance.

You will be expected to lead from the front: coach team members, manage operational KPIs, resolve same-day issues, and continuously improve the systems that keep the operation running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Own daily operational and financial performance for a $3M-$5M business unit, including labor, supplies, budgets, profitability, and efficiency initiatives.

  • Recruit, train, coach, and manage delivery drivers and operational staff, creating a culture of safety, accountability, service, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead daily dispatch operations, including staffing, load-out, route assignments, driver readiness, fleet availability, and same-day execution.

  • Manage performance against key KPIs and performance metrics including company delivery success metrics

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and improve SOPs

  • Resolve and escalate real-time issues

  • Maintain readiness of fleet vehicles, handheld devices, uniforms, keys, fuel cards, and delivery supplies.

  • Partner with Amazon station leadership and internal teams

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Transportation, Engineering, or a related field; comparable relevant experience is equally valued.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to manage staffing, shifting priorities, performance data, and real-time disruptions.

  • Comfortable with spreadsheets, scheduling, payroll, dashboards, and operational technology; able to understand labor costs, budgets, and P&L fundamentals.

  • Valid driver's license, ability to work in the local service area, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a warehouse or delivery-station environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of leadership experience in delivery, logistics, warehouse, fleet, retail, hospitality, military, or another fast-paced operational setting.

  • Experience with dispatch, delivery routes, fleet readiness, labor planning, scheduling, payroll review, budgets, or Amazon DSP performance metrics.

  • Proven ability to improve processes, build accountability, and lead teams through operational change

  • Demonstrated ability to coach and manage frontline teams, communicate expectations clearly, and address performance concerns professionally.
