Job description

Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, New Vision Hotels. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
About the Role
SpringHill Suites Fort Collins is seeking a hands-on, guest-focused Operations Manager to help lead our team and uphold Marriott's brand standards and culture throughout the property. This is not a behind-the-desk, back-office role - this is a visible, guest-facing leadership position for someone who thrives on the floor, engaging with guests and associates, and leading by example during the hotel's busiest hours.
We're looking for a strong leader who can step in during evenings and weekends to ensure smooth operations, outstanding guest service, and a motivated team - even when senior leadership isn't on property.
What You'll Do
  • Provide visible, active leadership on the floor during evening and weekend shifts, ensuring consistent, outstanding guest service at every touchpoint
  • Support and coach front desk, breakfast, and housekeeping teams to uphold Marriott brand standards
  • Serve as the go-to leader on property during evenings/weekends, resolving guest issues and operational challenges in real time
  • Reinforce a positive, service-driven culture among associates
  • Partner with the General Manager and department heads to maintain consistency across shifts
  • Step in hands-on wherever needed - front desk, guest requests, service recovery - to keep operations running smoothly
  • Help ensure compliance with Marriott quality and brand standards

Qualifications:
  • Marriott brand experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of hospitality leadership, ideally in a full-service or select-service hotel environment
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a genuine passion for guest interaction
  • Comfortable and energized working evenings and weekends - this role is built around covering the hours when guests need us most
  • Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate a team in the moment
  • A leader who prefers being on the floor with guests and associates over sitting behind a desk

• Optional health benefits • 401(k) • Paid sick time • Paid time off (PTO)
The application deadline for this position is 45 days after the date of this posting, July 27, 2026.
This company is an equal opportunity employer.
