TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Montgomery, Alabama.

Job Description & Requirements

  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 8 hours, days

UNIT: East: Surgery

Certs Required: ACLS, BLS.

Experience Required: 2 years. STRONG Robot exp. Core specialty: General, GYN, Urology, and Vascular.

First time travelers?  2 years of pertinent exp. Prefer 2 years in a non-travel position prior to travel.

Floating: Only within department - holding room.

Patient Types: General, GYN, Urology, Vascular, Ortho, Ped Dental (preferred exp, not required), Podiatry, ENT, Robotics for Gen, GYN, and Uro

Technology/Equipment:

EMR: CERNER

Medication dispensing: Omnicell

IV pumps: Plum 360

Monitors: Spacelabs

Orientation: Usually 2-3 shifts, but we evaluate each one to be sure they will be ready for call shifts.

Scheduling:
·        Weekend rotation:
▪        Take call 1 weekend day (24 hours) per month
·        On call? If so, what is that schedule?
▪        Take call 1 weeknight per week- 3p-6:30a

Parking: back of hospital, free.
