Every other weekend commitment is mandatory.
Candidates must be willing to float to other units and facilities.
The role accepts either 36 or 48 hours per week.
The Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit focuses on care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and other surgical conditions requiring critical care.
The unit primarily manages post-operative recovery and complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring.
Nurses are expected to exhibit high levels of professional competency.
Additionally, there is a stepdown unit that emphasizes the care and recovery of patients following cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery.
Both units are supported by a cardiovascular educator.
The team prioritizes a patient-centered approach to care.
Our aim is to make the patient experience pleasant and comfortable in a safe environment.
An Associate degree in nursing is required for this position.
AHA PALS certification is preferred for those working in a pediatric unit.
Only registered nurses with a valid state license will be considered.
