Travel Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU
Schedule
- Shift: Day/Night rotation
- Hours: 3x12 hr shifts (36 hrs/week)
- Day: ~7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- Night: ~7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Weekend coverage: every other weekend

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Neuro ICU experience
- Travel experience required
- Preferred: Trauma Level I experience
- Required certifications: BCLS/BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only)
- Experience with EVD/ICP monitoring, mechanical ventilation, EEG, and bedside care of ventilated/neuromonitoring patients
- Proficient in central/arterial line management, blood product administration, IV starts, dysrhythmia interpretation, and titration of vasoactive/cardiac drips
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult neuro patients, including those with strokes, neuromuscular diseases, and post-operative needs.
- Monitor and manage patients using advanced neurocritical care techniques.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and care needs.

- RNs must have a valid compact or state license in hand at the time of submission
