Neuro ICU Travel Nurse โ€“ Neuro Intensive Care Unit

Job Type: Travel Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: ICU Weekly Pay: $1,945 Shift Details: Shift: Nights - 3 x 12

Schedule

3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) Day: 7:00 AM โ€“ 7:30 PM Night: 7:00 PM โ€“ 7:30 AM Rotation: Day/Night rotation every 4 weeks Weekends: Every other weekend

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years Neuro ICU experience
  • Travel experience required
  • Preferred: Trauma Level I experience
  • Required certifications: BCLS/BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only)
  • Experience with ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke, SAH, seizures, neuromuscular disease, post-op neurosurgery, TBI, spinal cord injury
  • Experience with ventilator management, ICP/EVD monitoring, central/arterial line management
Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care to adult patients in the Neuro ICU. Monitor and manage patients with neurological conditions including strokes and traumatic brain injuries. Administer medications and IV therapies, including vasoactive drips and continuous sedation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and document care in the electronic health record system. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in patient management.

Compliance / Notes

Urgent fingerprinting required immediately after booking. References: 2 professional references required; at least one must be a manager/director. RTO required with submission; local candidates accepted at the same rate. Vaccinations: COVID-19 vaccine not required; Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only).
