Employment Type: Full-time

Hours: Full-time, Monday Friday, five 8-hour shifts (flexible)

Compensation Range: $37/hr (depending on experience)

Interview Process: 1-2 week process, Onsite Interview with 3 Hiring Managers

Top Skills Required: 2+ years of RN experience (Pediatric experience required), 1+ year of infant/toddler care, Active FL RN License, Active BLS Certification, Bachelor's Degree

License/Certification: RN (Required), BLS Certification (Required)

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (TX)

The RN will be part of the Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC - Medical Daycare) program, responsible for providing nursing interventions and educational services to parents or guardians caring for children with special needs. This unique role combines nursing with activities typically found in a traditional daycare. The position is located in Houston, TX, and candidates must be local to the area.

  • Provides educational services to enhance parents' or guardians' confidence and competence in caring for children with special needs.
  • Collaborates effectively with an interdisciplinary health team, including HHAs and CNAs.
