  • Following all safety, sanitation, and infection-control protocols appropriate for a hospice environment

  • Using cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment safely and correctly

  • Caring for assigned equipment and reporting supply or maintenance needs

  • Performing all duties with discretion, compassion, and respect for residents and families during end-of-life care

  • Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Additional Support You May Provide

  • Experience in hospice, healthcare, senior living, or similar care environments

  • Familiarity with bloodborne pathogen precautions and regulated waste

  • Experience working independently in patient-care or residential settings

Work Environment

This role is based within an occupied hospice residence, including resident rooms, common areas, offices, and support spaces. The work requires sensitivity to residents and families, along with standing, walking, bending, lifting, and routine exposure to cleaning chemicals and regulated waste. Safety protocols are always followed to protect staff and residents.
