Weekend On Call roles involve being available outside regular hours, often remotely, to provide support or consults. Emergency Room Nurses work directly in hospital ERs, providing immediate patient care during emergencies. While both require nursing credentials and certifications, ER Nurses work on-site in high-pressure environments, whereas Weekend On Call staff may have more flexible or remote arrangements.
