We're looking for a motivated Field Service Technician to help install, maintain, repair, and support fuel storage systems and related equipment at customer locations.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, traveling to customer sites, and taking pride in hands-on work that directly supports fleets, construction companies, municipalities, and commercial businesses.

What You'll Do

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for supporting customer fuel and lubricant systems while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fuel storage tanks, pumps, meters, monitoring systems, and related equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on customer fueling equipment.
  • Clean, prepare, and paint fuel tanks and equipment as needed.
  • Assist with fuel tank repairs, upgrades, relocations, and removals.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and recommend solutions to customers.
  • Train customers on the proper operation and maintenance of their equipment.
  • Complete service reports, inspection records, and maintenance documentation.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, environmental regulations, and customer site requirements.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent Al Warren Oil positively at all customer locations.
  • Work closely with operations, sales, and dispatch teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in a clean and safe condition.

Requirements

Required
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL-B) with Tanker Endorsement or ability to obtain Tanker Endorsement within a specified timeframe.
  • Acceptable driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Preferred
  • Experience with fuel tanks, pumps, meters, fuel monitoring systems, or petroleum equipment.
  • Experience operating medium-duty commercial vehicles.
  • Basic electrical, plumbing, welding, fabrication, or industrial maintenance experience.
  • OSHA, Hazwoper, or related safety certifications.
  • Experience working in the petroleum, construction, fleet fueling, or industrial services industries.
