Veterinary Technologist, RVTDepartment: EmergencyLocation: Calgary, AB

Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency (C.A.R.E.)Centreis currently welcoming anER, RVT, to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated technicians to expand their knowledge and practice very high-quality emergency medicine with a board-certified emergency and critical care specialist.

Our ER RVT's have extensive exposure and involvement in patient care for specialty patients, providing a rich variety of cases. Including Dentistry, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Dermatology, Surgery and Anesthesia. The philosophy of the C.A.R.E. Centre is to provide exceptional patient care in a progressive and cooperative teaching environment

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong desire to provide exceptional client experience. Extensive training is provided.

The schedule provides great balance, with two days on/two days off/five days on/five days off (including every other weekend off) including an ER premium. This schedule rotates monthly between days, swing and overnights (including an overnight premium). Flexibility is an asset but we work to promote great work/life balance. Applicants must be registered and be registered with or eligible to register with AAAHT.
