Registered Nurse – Pelham Medical Center (Multi-Specialty Acute Care Tele Unit)

About the Unit:

  • 24-bed Acute Care Multi-Specialty Acute Care Tele Unit
  • Major Respiratory Infection/Inflammation, Pneumonia, Heart Failure cases
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5
  • Spacious rooms with advanced monitoring technology

Schedule

The PRN Tier 1 Nurse must work:

·        Four (4) 12-hour shifts in a 6-week period.

·        Two (2) of the 4 shifts must be a weekend.

·        Must work 1 major summer and 1 major winter holiday

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver evidence-based, compassionate care
  • Collaborate with a highly engaged, multidisciplinary team
  • Participate in professional development and unit-based committees
  • Advocate for patients and ensure continuity of care

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current SC or compact state RN license
  • BLS certification

Preferred Requirements: At least one (1) year of acute care experience
