Position: Non-CDL Driver (Part-Time)
Work Location: Albany, NY 12205
Payrate: $22.00/hr
Duration: 3+ Months role with high chances of extension/conversion
Shift: Tuesday & Thursday: 5:00 AM - 4:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
      Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Flexible shifts based on delivery needs
 
Job Description:
  • Safely operate a company box truck in compliance with all driving policies
  • Pick up and deliver merchandise in a timely, safe, and courteous manner
  • Load and organize orders for efficient delivery routes
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery status and arrival times
  • Collect payments and obtain required signatures upon delivery
  • Assist with warehouse operations including picking, packing, inventory, loading/unloading, and organization
  • Coordinate with branch staff to support current and future orders
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years of delivery driving experience (box truck preferred)
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Active DOT Medical Card in good standing
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred (Not Required):
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
