Job Requirements
  • Active RN license in the state of practice or compact RN license eligibility
  • Minimum 2.5 years of recent NICU nursing experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • NRP certification required
  • Experience with cooling therapy, ventilators, JET ventilators, and oscillators required
  • Strong clinical judgment in caring for unstable neonatal patients
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, team-oriented neonatal intensive care environment
Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based care for critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU
  • Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
  • Manage advanced NICU therapies and specialized neonatal equipment
  • Support resuscitation, stabilization, and ongoing care for newborn patients
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Educate and support families throughout the care experience
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately
  • Maintain a calm, professional presence in a fast-paced critical care setting
