What is a Weekend News Reporter?

A Weekend News Reporter is a journalist who covers news stories, events, and breaking news that occur over the weekend for television, radio, online, or print media outlets. Their responsibilities include researching topics, conducting interviews, writing news reports, and sometimes presenting live updates on air. Weekend News Reporters typically work non-traditional hours, including evenings and holidays, to ensure timely coverage.
