Job description

Role:  SOC Analyst
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Schedule: 24/7 Rotating Shifts
Shift Requirements: Nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Work Model: On-site
Interview Process: In Person Only
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or a similar security monitoring environment.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of security monitoring, event triage, incident classification, and escalation processes.
  • Ability to analyze technical data and identify potential security or network-related issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong documentation and reporting abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and mission-critical environment.
  • Ability to follow established procedures while exercising sound judgment when evaluating and escalating events.
  • Strong teamwork and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Willingness and ability to work a 24/7 rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingness to work different shifts based on operational requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SIEM, ticketing, monitoring, or security event management tools.
  • Familiarity with network security concepts, security operations, and incident response processes.
  • Experience working with SOC playbooks, dashboards, KPIs, and detection rules.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.
