Job description

A loving family of three on the Upper East Side is seeking a kind, experienced live-out nanny to care for its 4-month-old daughter to start as soon as possible. The family is seeking a nanny who is nurturing, proactive, and flexible, as well as someone who enjoys working with infants, understands developmental milestones, and will foster a warm, loving, and engaging environment.

The family values someone who is happy to come to work, communicates well, and brings calm, practical energy to the household.

Schedule:


Monday–Friday, 7:30AM–7:30 PM. On occasion, the family will ask that the nanny stay later one or two nights per week. Ample notice will be given for extended hours.

This role could involve domestic and international travel.


• Always ensure the baby’s safety and wellbeing
• Care for the baby
     o Dressing
     o Diaper changes
     o Feeding – bottles and later solids
     o Playing
• Maintain the baby's schedule
• Help to put baby down for naps
• Light housework, including laundry
• Engage the baby with activities to help the baby learn and grow
• Provide occasional photo and text updates to parents throughout the day

  • Someone that has that flexibility if they have travel or weekends on occasional.
  • Travel domestically and internationally
  • Warm, patient, reliable, and organized


  • Experience with infants 4 months and older
  • At least 5 years of experience
