Job Summary:
MDAEdge is seeking a Lead Power BI Developer with deep functional expertise in Life Sciences Clinical Manufacturing. This role is critical for bridging technical data engineering and the specialized requirements of a GMP environment, focusing on advanced data visualizations and data integration from clinical manufacturing sources.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop advanced data visualizations using Power BI Desktop, DAX, and Power Query/M language.
• Build and optimize complex Semantic Models using Direct Lake mode for high-performance reporting.
• Architect and implement Row-Level Security (RLS) in compliance with Red CCI access requirements.
• Integrate and analyze data from critical manufacturing systems including MES, LIMS, and Pi Historian.
• Configure Microsoft Fabric workspaces with robust security controls for sensitive data.
• Establish OneLake shortcuts to AWS S3 buckets across Bronze, Silver, and Gold data zones.
• Utilize SQL and Data Modeling best practices to ensure data integrity and scalability.
• Manage Power BI Administration tasks and establish report development standards and templates.
• Apply deep functional knowledge of Clinical Manufacturing environments and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to all deliverables.
• Lead the development of operational reporting to support 'Foundry' business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex clinical manufacturing requirements into technical solutions.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and compliance when handling sensitive healthcare and life sciences data.
