Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team! As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for greeting patients who come in the door, checking them in, and pulling relevant patient files or obtaining new patient information. You will also answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate place, mail or fax documentation to the appropriate offices, and maintain excellent medical and correspondence records, as appropriate. The ideal candidate is very organized, has strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and works well independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

Greet patients who walk through the door

Ascertain their needs and get them checked in

Verify Medical Insurance

Answer the phone and schedule appointments or answer patient questions

Send medical records, as needed

Answer routine questions and provide answers about clinic and operations with clear articulation

Scheduling appointments and medical tests for patients

Opening and Closing clinic and reporting on procedures

Maintaining a clean waiting room

Performing additional clerical duties as needed

Qualifications

Bilingual
