About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and friendly Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our medical imaging practice on a part-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for healthcare, nursing, medical, or other allied health STUDENTS who are looking to gain valuable experience in a professional medical environment while working a part-time schedule.
Schedule
  • 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Alternating weekends
  • Part-time position
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check in patients in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments for radiology procedures
  • Verify insurance eligibility and obtain prior authorizations as needed
  • Collect and process patient co-pays, billing information, and medical records
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, responding to patient inquiries promptly
  • Maintain accurate patient demographics and data entry in EMR/EHR systems
  • Coordinate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of front desk or medical receptionist experience preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, and prior authorization processes
