To thrive as a Weekend Math Teacher, you need a solid grasp of mathematical concepts, effective lesson planning, and a relevant teaching credential or degree. Familiarity with digital teaching platforms, virtual whiteboards, and educational software is commonly required. Excellent communication, patience, and the ability to motivate students are critical soft skills for this role.
