CDR General Services is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor to join a production facility. This role requires a hands-on leader who actively works alongside the maintenance team, brings strong technical expertise, and can effectively guide daily maintenance operations while supporting a safe and efficient work environment.

Position Summary
The Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading and supporting maintenance technicians in a production environment. This position focuses on hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and team leadership to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work hands-on with maintenance technicians to repair and maintain production equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Perform emergency repairs to minimize production downtime
  • Lead preventive maintenance activities and equipment inspections
  • Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance staff on best practices and safety
  • Diagnose equipment failures and determine root causes
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and line changeovers
  • Ensure lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA compliance
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with production leadership
  • Maintain accurate work orders, logs, and maintenance documentation
Hands-On Knowledge & Experience Required
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, and production machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams
  • Working knowledge of PLC basics, sensors, VFDs, and control panels (troubleshooting level)
  • Experience with welding, fabrication, and general facility maintenance preferred
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred
  • Technical certification or trade school background a plus
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Work Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends or on-call
  • Maintenance experience: 3 years (required)
  • Millwright experience: 2 years (preferred)
  • Leadership experience: 2 years (required)
