Summary

Glaz-Tech is looking to hire for the following positions, IG Line and Fabrication at our Baton Rouge, LA location. We are seeking a responsible, adaptable and self-driven individual looking to grow with us in the manufacturing industry. The manufacturing associate will use a variety of tools, machinery, and protective gear to ensure product is produced safely and to the highest quality.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Use of specialized machinery and hand tools
  • Organization and production of various glass products
  • Assisting multiple departments as needed
  • Inspects accepts and/or rejects work performed in compliance with applicable codes and specifications
  • Conduct quality control tests and inspections raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products
  • Must demonstrate strong attention to detail with accuracy in all tasks.
  • Must possess the ability to spot errors, maintain consistency and ensure high standards of quality in their work

Requirements:

  • Ability to safely lift 50-75 pounds
  • Ability to physically stand for 8 hours per day
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Willingness to learn new skills and grow as an employee
  • Successfully pass pre-employment Drug Screen

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and equipment
  • Authorized to work in the US
