Responsibilities:
  • Planning, overseeing, and executing nursing services for residents while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborating with the Nursing Director to strategize nursing service operations and emergency support provisions for shifts.
  • Adjusting care plans in collaboration with medical staff to address emergency medical needs.
  • Ensuring adequate relief staff availability before leaving the facility and notifying residents' personal physicians in case of significant changes in their condition or immediate medical care needs.
  • Handle admission of new residents.
  • Overseeing and guiding Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering quality care.
  • Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations

NOW HIRING: 7AM-7PM Saturdays, and Sunday
Qualifications & Experience Requirements for Weekend Nurse Supervisor:
  • Previous Experience as a Weekend Nurse Supervisor preferred
  • Licensed Registered Nurse
  • Current State of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
  • At least one (2) year of clinical experience
  • Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Long term care experience preferred
