Security Escort Driver

Position Type:

Temporary Contract Position (6 Months)

Work Schedule:

  • Night Shift: Saturday – Sunday, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
  • Weekend Shift
  • 12-Hour Shifts

Compensation is based on a combination of experience, qualifications, and education.

HCRC is currently seeking reliable and professional individuals to serve as Security Escort Drivers supporting vehicle escort operations. This position requires operating an escort vehicle and accompanying authorized vehicles to and from designated locations while ensuring compliance with all security and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate company-provided escort vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
  • Escort authorized vehicles and drivers to and from designated locations and work sites.
  • Maintain continuous visual contact with escorted vehicles throughout assigned movements.
  • Ensure escorted personnel and vehicles comply with established security procedures and site requirements.
  • Monitor vehicle movements and immediately report any security concerns, incidents, accidents, or emergencies.
  • Coordinate with security personnel, site representatives, and project management regarding vehicle movements and escort activities.
  • Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of escort vehicles and report maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain accurate logs of vehicle movements, escort activities, incidents, and shift reports.
  • Provide directions and guidance to escorted personnel while maintaining security protocols.
  • Remain alert to potential security risks, hazards, and unauthorized activities.
  • Support access control procedures and visitor management requirements when necessary.
  • Perform other security-related duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Security Escort, Security Officer, Force Protection Officer, or related security position.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to safely operate vehicles during nighttime hours and in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and observation skills.
  • Ability to remain alert and attentive during extended shifts.
  • Ability to prepare clear and accurate written reports.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
  • Must be able to pass all required background screenings and site access requirements.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting federal government, Department of Defense, aerospace, construction, or industrial projects.
  • Experience conducting vehicle escorts or access control operations.
  • Military, law enforcement, or security industry experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, and drive for extended periods.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
  • Ability to perform duties requiring constant vigilance and situational awareness.
