***this is NOT a subcontract position at this time***** weekends only and occasional weekday if needed

The primary purpose of this position is to implement all required maintenance procedures in an efficient and cost-effective manner, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining a safe and secure environment for our residents.

Major Duties and Responsibilities • Perform repairs as directed • Collect and dispose of refuse • Clean, strip, wax, and buff floors • Assure prompt snow and ice removal • Help to assure the maintenance of the physical plant is in proper order • Assist in the care of the center's physical plant and grounds

Maintains facility by repairing walls, baseboards, doors, ceilings, mirrors, windows, removing trash,

Moves furniture in order to complete assignments

Coordinates daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.

Assist in terminal cleaning of resident room upon transfer, discharge, or death.

Follows maintenance schedule/instruction


Required Qualifications

Valid driver’s license in current State with satisfactory driving record

Read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Requires the ability to be available for “on-call” emergency repairs

Requires knowledge of building maintenance to include minor electrical repair

Pluming and routine preventative care of heating and air conditioning systems
