Job description

Overview
At Xpress Global Systems (XGS), we are Delivering a World of Difference, One Truck Load at a Time. We are looking for a hardworking, intelligent person with a relentless dedication to safety, quality, and customer service to join us as a TRUCK / TRACTOR / DIESEL TECHNICIAN.
  • Monday-Friday 7AM
  • $24 to $26/hour depending on experience

Responsibilities
The Technician will be responsible for:
  • Repair and maintenance of commercial trucks, including welding and fabricating
  • Ensuring equipment is DOT compliant
  • Ensuring equipment is operational with minimal downtime
  • Responsible for maintaining a culture of compliance and safety in the workplace by enforcing established policies and procedures
  • Ensures a safe and clean work environment
  • Ability to clearly document cause, complaint, and correction on each repair order
  • Able diagnose and repair issues related to (but not limited to) trailers, some light mechanical on Trailers and Forklifts
  • Able to weld and fabricate
  • Must be able to complete repairs within SRT times
  • Will work on other equipment as necessary
  • Must be on time and present on days schedule to work
