Job description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Designing and integrating complete automated production cells, including robotics, vision systems, part feeders, HMIs, PCs, PLCs, and related components.
  • Developing, programming, and troubleshooting robust control software for automated machines and manufacturing cells.
  • Driving continuous improvement efforts on existing equipment, including control upgrades, panel redesigns or rewiring, and integration of new technologies.
  • Creating new electrical schematics and maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation of existing designs.
  • Contributing to functional specifications for new equipment and partnering with manufacturing engineers and equipment vendors on best practices and component selection.
  • Providing technical documentation, training, and ongoing support to ensure knowledge transfer and system sustainability.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and communicating technical concepts clearly and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering-related discipline.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in controls engineering, automation programming, and integration of automated manufacturing systems.
