Job description

Job Title: Machining Operator
Classification: Non-Exempt
Department: Casting
Reports to: Supervisor
Position Summary:
Monitors a set of automated CNC machining lines to produce aluminum alloy billets for forging presses.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure equipment is operating within specified parameters.
  • Material handling requiring use of forklift and overhead crane
  • Ensure quality is maintained
  • Make offset adjustments if necessary
  • Fill out required production documents
  • Changeovers
  • Maintain clean/organized work area
  • Performs other duties as required
Skills & Competencies:
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team.
  • Ability to read and comprehend basic English
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend basic English

Education & Experience:
